FARMINGTON –- On the heels of an evening with Bob Marley, Mt. Blue High School hosts its very own Curtain Raisers Improv Comedy Troupe for a one-nightonly stand of unpredictable, unequivocal hilarity on Friday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mt. Blue High School auditorium.
Building upon the suggestions of their audience, the Curtain Raisers deliver comedic skits, scenes, songs and storylines invented via their own imaginations and frenetic energy. Classic games such as “Late to Work” and “Phrases” hit on the Whose Line Is It, Anyway? tradition while original structures like “Opera in a Bucket” showcase the unique talents and creativity of Curtain Raisers.
The proceeds from this show go directly to Curtain Raisers’ efforts to return to ImprovBoston, a professional improv theater located in Central Square, Cambridge, Mass.
This year’s group includes Alex Allen, Anthea Fletcher, Jessica Baxter, Morgan Spencer, Kelton Cullenberg, John Evans, Laurel Fraley, Cat Goding, Colton Hall, Josh Hiltz, Hannah Senecal and Andreas Wyder.
Admission is only $3.
