CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Greg Thomas will be displaying his artistic photographs in the Carrabassett Valley Public Library for the next six weeks.

On Friday, April 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., the library board of directors is inviting the public to join them in a wine and cheese reception to welcome Thomas and view his display.

Thomas was born and raised in Maine and has been a longtime Sugarloafer. Folks may know him from his days of photographing skiers on Sugarloaf. He has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Fine Arts and a minor in Art History from the University of Southern Maine.

He will be displaying three different themes of photography: Classic Scenery (photographs of the Sugarloaf area), Wildlife from the Western Mountains and Four Season Views (four different locations photographed in the four seasons).
