We are three high school seniors from Carrabec who want to make a difference!

As a part of a National Honor Society service project, we are hosting a hair donation event on May 15 from 9 a.m. to noon. Hair cannot be dyed (highlighted) or permed and must be 10” or longer in order to donate. There will be touch-ups by local hair stylists and FREE snacks for those who join us!

We are also drawing for a hair and spa basket raffle on the day of the event. All of the donations will go to the “Wigs For Kids” non-profit organization that benefits children who have experienced chemotherapy, radiation treatments, alopecia, and other illnesses. Raffle tickets will be available at Kniffin’s Specialty Meats!

We appreciate those who have donated so far in our attempts to raise $1,000 for the organization.
