RANGELEY — The Rangeley Shoulder to Shoulder Clean-Up Day is Saturday, May 8.

“Get outside, pitch in, feel great about contributing to the community and the environment!” said a spokesperson for the event.

Volunteers should stop by the Rangeley Post Office on May 8 between 9 a.m. and noon to pick up trash bags and sign up for a cleanup route.

This annual event involves caring citizens picking up trash and debris from the roadsides in a celebration of spring and the coming summer. The Rangeley Boy Scout Troop 503 is coordinating this event. The rain/snow date is May 15.
