Power outage
These trees came down with strong swirling winds on Maple Street in Kingfield last Thursday causing an extended power outage in some areas. The trees became hung up on Central Maine Power electrical lines causing local responders concern. The Kingfield Fire Department was the first to respond and closed off the street because of the potential of wires causing public harm. Power was restored sometime late that night or early morning.
