Springfest —fun and games, auction and more

KINGFIELD — Friday, May 14 from 3 to 5 p.m., Kingfield school children and community members from far and wide will have the chance to play games and win prizes at the annual Springfest celebration.

The Chinese auction features a miscellany of lightly used, homemade and interesting items, including toys, games and household articles. The drawing will take place at 4:30 p.m. Participants must be present to claim their items. Donations for the Chinese auction can be dropped off at the school from Monday morning through Wednesday afternoon.

Highlights for children include games, a jump house, musical chairs, climbing wall and more. Participants are guaranteed to win prizes. There will also be face painting, tattoos, balloon animals and a plant sale.

The Girls Talk/Teen voices crew will be making baked treats for the bake sale, and snacks and beverages will be available.

Admission is free, games and snacks are low cost, and all ages are invited.
