Bean supper on tap
STRATTON — The Stratton-Eustis Wayfarers Club of Maine is sponsoring a public bean supper Saturday, May 22 from 5 to 7 pm at the Stratton-Eustis Community Building.
They will be serving homemade baked beans, ham, casseroles, hot dogs, coleslaw, rolls and homemade pies for dessert. The cost is $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10 years of age.
Fred Townsend, President of the Wayfarers, is encouraging everyone in the community to “come and socialize with your friends and neighbors while enjoying a great homemade New England dinner.”
The Wayfarers Club of Maine is a nonprofit service organization affiliated with Mt Bigelow Masonic Lodge #202 and the Somerset Chapter #80 of the Eastern Star and meets at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month at the Stratton Masonic Lodge located across from the elementary school on School Street.
