Vote Judy Dill for school board
I am writing to ask your support by voting for Judy Dill for another three-year term on the MSAD #58 (RSU #58) school board.
I have had the pleasure of serving on the board with her for the past three years. Judy is a role model to me. Often times there are difficult issues that come before the board that need to be discussed and resolved. Judy and I ride together to the board meetings so if there is something that I am a little confused about I have the opportunity to discuss them with her and to hear her opinion.
She has worked in the district long enough to know many of the teachers and administrators and has built up a relationship with them and knows what their jobs are and what they are capable of doing in the event that we need to move some teachers/administrators around. She is a retired school teacher (K-1) of 24 years for MSAD #58. She is a great team player and is looked up to for her wealth of knowledge concerning the classroom curriculum which she is passionate about.
Judy is highly respected by many for her eagerness to do what is right for the children in our district and making sure that decisions that are made have the least amount of impact on the children.
She has been a mentor in the Kingfield first grade class for the past six years keeping her love for teaching children alive and at the same time making herself available to teachers, administrators and parents to listen to their concerns.
She now serves on a personnel sub-committee that meets with the superintendent once a month and serves on the committee that has been meeting with the MSAD #74 school board to discuss collaborating with our district so that we can share costs of administrators and office expenses and at the same time we would lose our state penalty of approx. $134,000 per year.
Having Judy Dill on our school board is a benefit to all parents and children alike. Judy is married to John Dill who has been a town selectperson for many years and is currently running for this position again so therefore she also cares about the district taxpayers and wants to do her part in keeping the taxes at a minimum.
Please show your support by coming and voting for Judy at the Kingfield town meeting on Saturday, June 5.
Sincerely,
Kim Jordan
Kingfield
