Cycology ready to ‘Trek Across Maine’

(Contributed photo) CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Carrabassett Cycology will represent the Sugarloaf community in the 26th American Lung Association of Maine Trek Across Maine-Sunday River to the Sea event June 18 to 20. This year’s group of 17 riders will join over 2,000 other cyclists and ride from Newery to Belfast to raise money and awareness for the efforts of the American Lung Association of Maine.

“This will be the 11th year our Sugarloaf Community Team has raised money to improve all aspects of air quality for all Mainers,” Marcia White, team spokesperson, said. “Our state’s chapter is still recognized as one of the most effective chapters in the country and this exceptionally well-run event exemplifies that. This is the 26th Trek Across Maine, and we are all proud to participate and represent our Sugarloaf community.”

This year’s team members are: Jay Reynolds, Ethan Austin, Deb Bowker, Augusta French, Marcia White, Jarod Frigon, Brian Bowker, Cayce Lord, Mason Rowell, Richard Legere, Meredith Friend, Isaac White, Bob Luce, Kevin Shea, Erica Luce, Devin Seel and Rebecca Larovera.
