KINGFIELD — An open house retirement celebration is being held for longtime Kingfield Elementary School secretary Georgie Woodford on Sunday, June 13 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Strawberry shortcake will be served outside on the KES soccer field.

Everyone is welcome to attend, especially current students, past students, family and friends.

This is a great opportunity for the community to thank Georgie for all of her years of commitment to KES, a spokesperson for the event noted.
