Rally for Norlands: Civil War Reenactment Weekend June 12 & 13
The Second Annual Civil War Reenactment Weekend at the Washburn-Norlands Living History Center (Norlands) will take place June 12 and 13. Living historians dressed as Confederate and Union infantry will scrimmage with replica weaponry on the grounds of the 19th century historic settlement.
Visitors at the Civil War reenactment will become engaged in the lives of soldiers and civilians. The two-day event will include encampments you can visit, full-scale battles, cannon artillery, the “Town of Unity” civilian camp, farm-life living history, field music, 19th Century fashion show, ‘dress-up” tent with old clothing, and much more.
The public is invited to experience this journey into history and to help Norlands thrive into the future. Admission tickets for the public are $8 adults and $5 for children under 12 years old. Discounted weekend passes are available.
