I wish to thank each and everyone who had a part in my retirement celebrations.

It all started on Friday with the student body wishing me a “Happy Retirement.” The students out did themselves with their creative rhymes, songs, poems and dances. You are all a great group of children.

On Sunday I was deeply touched by the dedication of the staff and all the work that they did to give me such a great party. It was also a great joy to have my family in attendance. I am very grateful for all the gifts I received and wish to say a big THANK YOU to the district for the rocking chair, the KES staff for the golf clubs and bag, and to my family for the golf push cart.

You all know what I like to do in my spare time.

It has been a joy to work at Kingfield Elementary School. I know I will miss the staff and students very much. I wish them the best of everything for the upcoming school years.
