RANGELEY — Sunday, July 25 Rangeley Lakes Heritage Trust and the family of Robert “Bob” C. Summers Sr. will be hosting a gathering of friends to celebrate Summers’ life and his commitment to the Rangeley community.

The commemorative event will start at 12:30 p.m. at the Whip Willow Farm Overlook at the base of Dallas Hill Road on Route 4.

Several of Summers’ dearest friends will share their thoughts and treasured memories of him. Congressman Mike Michaud, a long-term and invaluable supporter of the Rangeley Lakes Scenic Byway, will share about Summers’ commitment to the Byway and local economic development.

And a memorial plaque will be unveiled to forever honor Summers’ life and legacy. All those who knew Summers are warmly invited to attend this special event and to enjoy the company of his family and friends over light refreshments.
