Kingfield Days surpasses itself
KINGFIELD — Another Kingfield Festival Days has come and gone, but the experience will live on in everyone’s memories. As Bobby Brown, who has MC’d many Kingfield Days events over the years, noted this year, “You have planted a great memorable seed for folks to return and tell others of the quality of family fun that is available during Kingfield Festival Days.”
The events ran the gamut from the Grand Parade to a “Mudmobile,” from DJ Greg Powers to an amateur photo contest, from the Kingfield Dancers to Mud Football. But of course, the “crowning” event is naming Mrs. Kingfield 2010: Pat Niidas.
Included here are the results from the many contests, competitions and parades. And of course, also we’ve included a slew of photos attempting to catch the great atmosphere generated by all those involved this year. Hats off to Myra Coffin and the multitude of volunteers who made it so memorable. Again Brown sums it up, “What a wonderful job that you all did! The ‘quality’ of acts, parade and entertainment was the highest of caliber that I have seen. And y’all were truly well organized and well promoted.”
Speaking of photos, there is no possible way we could publish all of the photos we and others took this year. In the coming days, we will begin adding photos to the Kingfield Days 2010 photo gallery on our Web site where you can go to relive Kingfield Festival Days 2010.
