Ready, aim...
Lachlan Clark, of Eustis, prepares to shoot at a target, as Lane LeBlanc of Skowhegan waits his turn and Al Burnell gets ready to pull the clay disc at the Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association Shooting Range. The CVOA held the outing Thursday, July 15 and children from Stratton and Carrabassett Valley participated in shotgun trap shooting, .22 rifle shooting, archery and casting with fishing rods. About 40 kids participated in the event. Rick Rodgers of Inland Fisheries, Al Burnell, range manager and Emily Jones of Inland Fish & Wildlife were on hand to assist in the program.
