RANGELEY — The Saddleback Mountain Trail Run will be held Sunday, Aug. 8. The run is approximately 4 miles rising over 8,000 feet, beginning and finishing at the Saddleback Base Lodge.

Following the run, food, drink and a band will be available on the deck.

The Trail Run will begin at 10 a.m. and the Hike at 9:30 a.m. (there is no fee for the Hike).

Those wishing to participate may do so online at www.saddlebackmaine.com or be calling 866-918- 2225. Registration will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. All participants must sign a Release of Liability. Those under 18, require the signature of a parent or guardian. The entry fee is $25.

The age classes include Male and Female 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Some of the proceeds for this event will go to support local skiers and the Saddleback Ski Club and Scholarship Fund.
