STRONG — The Porter Lake Association will hold its 41st annual Bean-Hole Bean Supper Saturday, Aug. 7, at Strong Beach on Porter Lake from 5 until 6:30 p.m. (Forster Building in Strong in case of rain).

Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $3 for children 5 to 11 (under 5 free). Participants are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share. The menu includes bean-hole baked beans, franks, rolls and beverages, and a wide variety of donated salads and desserts. The dinner supports activities beneficial to the lake, its users, and the lake environment.

Strong Beach can be reached from Route 234 (connecting New Vineyard and Strong) turning onto Pond Road and then right again onto Beanies Beach Road.
