Timothy Eduard Richter
WYMAN TOWNSHIP -— Timothy E. Richter, 47, passed away unexpectedly at his home.
Born in Portland, he was a son of Fred D. and Lois K. Brown Richter. He was a 1981 graduate of Westbrook High School and a 1985 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Timothy had been a lobsterman, a ski instructor at Sugarloaf and a painting contractor in Stonington. Most recently, he helped maintain a Web site for Jan Spiller, a well-known author and astrologist. He loved astrology and was a true animal lover and outdoor enthusiast. He was a very outgoing, social man and had a great affinity for children.
Timothy was predeceased by a stepsister, Lois Whitlock. Surviving him are his father, Fred D. Richter of Portland; his mother, Lois K. Brown Shepard and her husband, Harold, of Windham; his brother, Jonathan D. Richter and his wife, Brenda, of Gray; his stepbrother, Charles Shepard and his wife, Cindy, of Westbrook; his sister, Elizabeth R.
Twombly and her husband, Christopher, of Glastonbury, Conn.; a niece, Reilly L. Twombly; and a large extended family.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Dolby Funeral Chapel in Windham. Rev. Pamela Morse officiated.
