CARRABASSETT — Mountain bike enthusiasts from the Carrabassett region have joined together to form a mountain bike club, which is now a chapter of the New England Mountain Bike Association.

NEMBA is a non profit organization with 19 chapters throughout New England that is bringing riders of all abilities together to share in the fun of mountain biking.

In addition to having a whole lot of fun, the Carrabassett Region NEMBA is working to highlight, enhance and expand the opportunities that exist for mountain biking in this beautiful region.

To learn about what the club is doing and/or get involved, there is a club meeting Saturday, July 31, beginning 10 a.m. at the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center.
