Mushroom walk-and-talk
RANGELEY — Amateur mycologist Michaeline Mulvey will present a walk and talk on “Mushrooming” at the Wilhelm Reich Museum, Sunday, Aug, 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. This workshop is intended for all ages.
Mulvey is a member of the Maine Mycological Association from Brunswick and has been a presenter for a number of years.
Participants should dress appropriately for the weather and walking in the woods and meet in the outdoor classroom near the museum at 2 p.m., Clark said. Drive to the museum and walk in on the trail marked “Tomb.” Insect repellent and water is strongly advised.
Participants may also want to bring materials for taking notes, or nature guidebooks, depending on the topic of the day. For questions, call the Wilhelm Reich Museum at 864-3443 or Bonnie Clark, NSP program coordinator, at 778-6637.
