STRONG — The Community Playhouse Misfits will present “Which Witch? Which Wizard?” Friday, Aug. 13, 7 p.m. at the Strong Elementary School.
The play, about the next generation’s journey to take over the throne of the current wizard, is according to organizers, full of great songs and dance routines with a cast of many and return appearances by favorites from past performances.
This year’s proceeds will be shared by the 8th grade class for their 8th grade trip and the Western Mountain Leo Club.
The Misfits have been raising funds for the 8th grade class trip for the last four years and each year, many of the young actors and actresses return to help the classes behind them.
The cast consists of 10 Leos and this performance will help toward the community service functions undertaken by the Leos. The Leo club has been helping fire victims and filling other community needs for the last three years and this fundraiser is another way for the young adults to continue to help the MSAD #58 community.
A donation of $5 at the door includes a brownie sundae. Soda and popcorn will be available at a nominal charge.
“Come and have a great time and help two wonderful groups accomplish their goals this year,” said a spokesperson for the event.
