STRONG –- Over 300 spectators and racers alike came out to Strong Saturday for a Dirty Dawg Deep Mud event. Sunday nearly 360 people came for the Maine Mud Bog Association Mud Drags. Both events started at 11 a.m.
The deep mud event featured 104 entries from stock to highly modified skimmers. Six classes participated in the deep mud created on the property of Tim Ladd off Route 4.
Organizer Kurt Phillips said that everything went great over the weekend and they’re already talking about bringing it back in Sept. The exact details and dates of future mud runs are in the works, Phillips said.
“It’s nice having a great track nearby and having local people come out to support us,” Phillips said.
