Dear ‘Friends’
I am pleased to wholeheartedly support your efforts to thwart the construction of any more windmills, especially in the Highland area.
A generous check is forthcoming.
In return, I ask for your support for MY plan to introduce three nuclear power plants in the very same area in and around Stewart, Burnt and Witham mountains.
They will be virtually invisible and very quiet. Power lines will merge with the Wyman project and only one access road will be required.
My petition with the L.U.R.C. for preliminary study has passed, and land permits are due to be signed this next week. I am happy to support your cause to the tune of $100,000 as soon as one more hurdle is overcome: that being, spent fuel storage is to be onsite.
The rock structure at the base of Stewart Mt. has been shown to be ideal for this purpose.
Needing no wind or weather concerns, the plants will run 24/7 and will power ALL of Maine without the nasty side effects wind power brings.
