Thanks for your prayers and caring thoughts

I’d like to apologize to everyone who tried to call me while I was in Franklin Memorial Hospital in July.

You see, I was given one of their (FMH) directories, and I understood it to read that you had to write out all the people I wanted to get through to me on the telephone. I never did finish the directory.

So, I called the switchboard and told her, “I don’t care who calls; but be sure my sister (I gave her address) and brother from Kentucky can get through.” That was Saturday, so it wasn’t until Sunday that I found out they were turning some calls away and also asking me if I wanted to talk to so-and-so. I was puzzled why they asked that until someone asked, “Shall we put all your calls through?” (“Yes, of course!”)

Please forgive me for not getting your calls; I am sorry to realize you tried and what happened.

I hope you realize that when I was so tired and sleep deprived, I wasn’t too clear as to what was going on.

Thank you, all my friends and relatives, for your prayers and caring thoughts.
