The Day of the Lord is at hand
The sign of the times we live in is that there is no longer a “fear of God or a reverence for His Name.” About seven years ago we began to develop a subdivision in the Carrabassett Valley called “God’s Acres.” Many times our signs have been taken down. Recently we received news that our hand-painted, permanent permitted “God’s Acres” sign by Route 27 was sawn off and taken down by vandals.
Probably the perpetrators of this vandalism are laughing and thinking they have “gotten us.” Well, they are wrong. We are fine. It is not us they have rejected. The nonsupport of this subdivision has nothing to do with Ronald and Rebecca Hazelton. It has everything to do with the Name of God.
God Almighty has been rejected and He has now chosen to take His Name from the Carrabassett Valley and we believe subsequently from the United States of America.
Woe to the people of the Carrabassett Valley who rejected God’s name and His purposes for this land; to those who took the Name so lightly as to touch it and remove it time and time again; to those who wanted us to change the name of the subdivision so we could sell it; to those who would not utter the name of the subdivision or publish it’s existence but who think nothing of taking God’s name in vain; to those who drove by or live nearby and spoke a curse against us or the land, hoped we would fail or declared the land worth nothing.
It’s never been about us, so if you “touched” us, you touched God. You don’t have to believe us. It is not us you have to deal with. There is One far greater that you will stand in front of on the judgment day. Repent, for the Day of the Lord is at hand.
In His Name,
Ron and Rebecca Hazelton
