Thank you so much to all of you who attended, donated your time, product, money and efforts to make possible the 5th Annual Carrabassett Summer Festival.

It was a beautiful day, and as a result of everyone’s hard work the festival was a great success. There were five bands that performed, 17 artists that displayed their artistry, Carrabassett region’s new mountain bike club, Stanley Steamer rides, the Radio Control Club, and the local Boy Scouts’ food booth, the Fly-In planes, the bounce house courtesy of the library staff, the draft horses and the forested fairy houses.

A very special thank you is extended to the Town of Carrabassett Valley, Camden National Bank, John Beaupre of Ayotte’s and Kelly Geary Lucas-Geary’s for their business sponsorships.

There certainly was something for everyone.

We are very pleased that the proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Dick Ayotte Scholarship Fund. This fund supports youth scholarships within our community.

Thanks to all of you who have allowed us to thrive.
