RANGELEY — The Sixth Annual Fall Festival will take place Sunday, Sept. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Saddleback Maine.
Festivities include a barbeque, an art and craft show featuring wood-fired pottery, handmade quilts and jewelry, a pie eating contest and plenty of events great for children. Special pre-season passes will also be for sale.
Event highlights include live music by Scott and Joe, a chance to “meet” the alpacas and a pumpkin patch for the kids.
Mid-September is an ideal time to take a ride up Route 4 to Rangeley and then perhaps over the Height of Land on Route 17 for the possibility of seeing some of the most spectacular foliage in New England, noted a spokesperson for the event.
