Yvonne Cote
EUSTIS — Yvonne Cote, 68, of Glidden Road, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, Aug. 26, 2010, at her home.
She was born in Portland, July 20, 1942, a daughter of Robert and Vivian (Tash) Pomerleau and received her education in parochial schools. On Aug. 23, 1960, she married Donald O. Cote Sr. in Scarborough. He died Dec. 2, 2009.
Mrs. Cote earned her CAN Certificate and worked as a local caregiver in the Eustis/Stratton area for many years as well as caring for her husband during his final illness. She also was a volunteer driver and she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Donald O. Cote Jr. and his wife, Denise, of Stratton, Tina Ryan and her husband, Marshall, of Stratton, Yvonne “Babes” Cote and her partner, Paula Crandall, of Strong, Gregory Cote and his wife, Debra, of New Gloucester, Kelly Cote and her fiancé, Chris Bard, of Farmington, and Kevin Cote and his wife, Sam, of Eustis; two sisters, Louise and Colleen of Connecticut; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband; a daughter, Kimberly Ann; a son, Robert; and three grandsons, Derrick, Nicholas and Ricky Lee.
Public graveside memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the New Flagstaff Cemetery.
