It’s ‘Pandemonium’ at the gallery
‘Pandemonium,’ the UMF Faculty Art exhibition, will be on view through Sept. 26.
FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington Art Gallery is currently hosting “Pandemonium,” the UMF Faculty’s Art Exhibit, through Sunday, Sept. 26. In addition, gallery talks will be held on three separate dates. The events are free and open to the public.
Works in this exhibit are created by faculty members of the UMF Dept. of Sound, Performance and Visual Inquiry and range from video projection and kinetic sculpture to painting and installation.
The faculty members represented are: Gustavo Aguilar, Krisanne Baker, J. Thomas, R. Higgins, Anthony Holmquist, Christopher Lavery, Dawn Nye, Elizabeth Olbert, Katrazyna Randall, Dona Seegers and Barbara Sullivan.
Thursday, Sept. 9, beginning at 5 p.m., gallery talks will be presented by J. Thomas, R. Higgins and Elizabeth Olbert.
Wednesday, Sept. 15, beginning at 11:45 a.m., Dawn Nye and Katrazyna Randall will give gallery talks.
Thursday, Sept. 23, beginning at 5 p.m., the gallery talks will be presented by Christopher Lavery and Barbara Sullivan.
The gallery, located at 102 Main Street in Farmington, is open Tuesday thru Sunday, from 12 to 4 p.m. and by appointment.
