Sno Wanderers to meet Sept. 12

KINGFIELD — The Kingfield Sno-Wanderers will host its first meeting of the season Sunday, Sept. 12, at 3 p.m., at the Snowshed.

After the meeting, which will be preceded by a social time, a BBQ of beef tips and burgers will be provided by the club. Members are asked to bring a side dish. All those attending are asked to RSVP to the club president, Terry Coffin at 265-2700.

“We hope to see new friends and faces. You don’t need to snowmobile to be a member as our trails are open to all winter enthusiasts,” said club spokesman John Goldfrank.

It was also noted that many volunteers are needed at the club’s Lucky 7 booth Sept. 17, 18 and 19 at the North New Portland Fair.

Goldfrank added that trail work and bridge repairs will begin in October. Members and volunteers should meet at the Snowshed on Sundays. Additional details will be published at a later date. Or visit the Town of Kingfield’s Web site.
