We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those connected with Poland Spring for their donation of water to the Lexington/Highland Historical Society on our Aug. 27 Linda Taylor Relay for Cancer Research.

From our arrival at the gate to our departure from the facility we felt very welcomed and feel that their willingness to help people in this area is genuine.

We are a small organization and our project of building a history house involves many volunteers, but we took time out to honor Linda Taylor who passed in March of the dreaded disease. Linda was a loyal and beloved member of our organization and we honored her by having the relay.

Even though we have a small membership we were able to raise over $1,600 for Cancer Research.
