NEW PORTLAND — Friends of Maine’s Mountains is sponsoring a free screening of the award-winning and critically acclaimed film “Windfall,” Friday night, Feb. 24, at 6 p.m. in the New Portland Community Room (adjacent to the firehouse).

It will also be shown in the Begin Family Community Room, Carrabassett Public Library, 3209 Carrabassett Drive #3, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012 at 7 p.m.

Laura Israel’s thought-provoking and visually stunning documentary is causing a stir all across America. Along with people in New York City, Chicago, LA and Seattle, our community has an opportunity to take advantage of this limited release.

Snacks provided will be provided in New Portland.
