LURLEEN RIDES AGAIN
Recently Lurleen Ryan of Stratton made a threeweek visit to Pennsylvania to visit her children, Michael and Martha Ryan and Mark and Vicki Ryan. While there she told a great story of her younger years when she would ride on the back of a motorcycle with Fred Townsend who was a cousin to Lurleen’s late husband, Willard. Michael offered to take his mother on a ride around the countryside on his own Harley Davidson and Lurleen quickly agreed. In this Feb. 3 photo, Lurleen, 77 years old, is having a great old time. When the ride was over she quickly proclaimed, “I loved it! And, I gotta call Fred.” Lurleen was able to call Fred Townsend that afternoon and excitedly tell him all about her ride.
