KINGFIELD — Seven republican volunteers from Kingfield can attend the State Caucus at the Augusta Civic Center on Saturday and Sunday, May 5 and 6. Two volunteers have already come forward and five more are needed.

The purpose of the convention is to adopt a party platform in the state of Maine, elect a state committee, elect a district committee for each congressional district, elect a county committee from each of the 16 counties, and to elect the delegates to attend the Republican National Convention to be held in Tampa, Florida in August.
