Kevin Kane Bearce

1938-2014 — He enjoyed his dog and coming to his Galway Farm in Strong

STRONG — Kevin “Cookie Man” Kane Bearce, 76, of Strong and West Roxbury, Mass. died unexpectedly at his home in Strong March 1, 2014.

He was born Jan. 9, 1938 in Foxboro, Mass., the son of Howard and Mary (Kane) Bearce. He attended school in Foxboro, Mass. and graduated from high school in the class of 1955. He worked as a truck driver for Peggy Lawton Kitchens in East Walpole, Mass. for 45 years. He married Geraldine Duggan in East Walpole, Mass. May 15, 1999. He was a member of the Elks Club in Brookline, Mass. and the Call Fire Department in East Walpole, Mass.

Kevin enjoyed his dog “Bailey” and coming to Maine and mowing the grass at his Galway Farm in Strong.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine “Gerri” Bearce of Strong and West Roxbury, Mass.; his two brothers, David Bearce and wife, Ellen, of Falmouth, Mass., John Bearce and wife, Cathleen, of Falmouth, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his two brothers, Robert Bearce and Howard Bearce Jr.

Memorial services in Strong and in Massachusetts will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Dan & Scott’s Cremation & Funeral Service in Farmington.
