KINGFIELD — Stanley and Grimm will be in concert at Mountain Village Farm B&B Wednesday, June 22 from 7:30 to 9. The concert is open to the public and a beer garden will be available.

The Celtic duo will entertain with a celebration of traditional music through new interpretations of jigs, reels and songs played by fiddler Nikki Engstrom and singer/guitarist Sean Brennan.

The duo creates a musical journey through a bounty of tunes and ballads of all origins, alongside modern tunes and songs they composed.

The Irish Rambler Radio Show describes the duo as having a “wonderfully pure, organic and authentic sound that makes them rank among the finest entertainers on this side of the Atlantic. Their arrangements and playing ability enables them to produce an acoustic tapestry which is close to perfection.”

The infectious fun they have on stage and their intense playing has helped them to become fan favorites on the New England traditional music scene.

You can hear a sample of their music and watch videos of their performances at www.stanleyandgrimm.com

They take their name after the makers of Engstrom’s fiddle and bow. The fiddle was made by F.O. Stanley, who also invented the Stanley Steamer with his twin brother, F.E. Stanley, and her bow was from a German bow maker named Grimm.

Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased at The Stanley Museum in advance, for $12. They will also be available at the gate for $15 if not sold out.
