Rebecca London joins Drummond Woodsum


Rebecca London Rebecca London PORTLAND — Drummond Woodsum recently announced that Rebecca London has joined its Government Relations and Campaigns practice group as a Government Relations Specialist.

Prior to joining Drummond Woodsum, London worked in Washington, D.C. as a junior associate for The Smith-Free Group, a boutique, bipartisan lobby and government relations consulting company. There, London was responsible for issues related to financial technology, or “fintech”. She also worked on financial services, transportation and renewable energy. Her work included monitoring the changing congressional and regulatory landscape, and supporting clients’ government relations agenda at the federal level.

Additionally, London worked for United States Senator Angus King (I-ME), where she worked on financial services and environment issues, and assisted the scheduler. Prior to working for the Senator in Washington, D.C., London worked for his senatorial campaign in 2012.

London manages public relations for clients, coordinating legislative efforts at the state, local, and federal level, as well as working with the media to supplement the government affairs aspect of advocacy. She helps clients reach legislative and campaign goals by creating policy proposals and working with government agencies and citizens.

London is originally from Carrabassett Valley and attended Colby College.
