CARRABASSETT VALLEY — If you haven’t heard the news, the 2021 Sugarloaf Charity Summit is a GO. Though the event will look different this year, the efforts to raise a mountain of money to fight cancer remain the same. All proceeds from Charity Summit events benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation, the Martha B. Webber Breast Care Center, and the Dempsey Centers.

Here’s how you can support the cause:

Brand new this year, is the Sugarloaf Charity Challenge (sugarloafcharitysummit.org/Challenge). Teams or individuals can register online, fundraise, then Jan. 30, get out on the snow anyway and anywhere to collectively accrue one million vertical feet as a community.

Raffle tickets for a two-year season pass are currently for sale online: sugarloafcharitysummit.org/raffle. The cost is just $25 for three tickets and the winner will receive a 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 pass with no blackout dates.

The online auction (sugarloafcharitysummit.org/auction) is live and will end Saturday, Jan. 30. Lots of great and unique items will be added throughout the month with a few live sessions thrown in as well, so check it out.
