NEW VINEYARD — Chewonki Traveling Natural History Program will present “Tide Pools” at the New Vineyard Public Library Thursday, August 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. The library is located at 20 Lake St, New Vineyard.
The popular program is open to all ages. Learn about tide pools and the home to a variety of species whose unique adaptations allow them to maintain stability in a world that is in a constant state of change. “Using this interactive traveling display, participants will dip their hands into the three zones of Maine’s rocky intertidal ecosystem and touch some of the ocean’s most magnificent species,” said a spokesperson at Chewonki.
